Aquest moviment va sacsejar la societat nord-americana, afectada per la crisi econ\u00f2mica i la Segona Guerra mundial, durant els anys cinquanta.<\/p>\n<p>En la literatura de la generaci\u00f3 beat destaquen autors com\u00a0<strong>Jack Kerouac<\/strong>,\u00a0Neal Cassady,\u00a0Allen Ginsberg\u00a0i\u00a0William S. Burroughs, entre altres.
